This West 43rd Avenue project is on a single-family zoned site bordering the upscale neighbourhoods of Dunbar-Southlands and Kerrisdale. The site is a 50 foot by 187 foot residential lot located on a beautiful, quiet tree-lined street, walking distance to desirable Crofton House and St. George’s Schools. The topography has a gentle slope to the rear of the lot and represents near ideal development conditions. Our proposal calls for the existing pre-1940’s home to be relocated to the rear of the lot. The home will be reconstructed to a modern and discerning standard, and a new 3 unit character building will be constructed at the front of the lot. When finished, the project will offer 4 separate stratified units on what was originally a single-family lot.
This project provides a new level of access and affordability in a neighbourhood that is currently less accesible to residents due to the quality and current form of existing homes.
